Salt Yard Cafe + Bar is a welcome addition to Portland’s renowned eclectic dining scene. Our industrial-chic all-day cafe and restaurant takes its name from the salt-glazed earthenware that was produced next door in the nineteenth century, celebrating the city’s vibrant working waterfront with a menu that evolves as the day unfolds.
Stop by for a hand-crafted latte and pastry on your way to work; linger over lunch in our inviting cafe with a curated selection of sandwiches and other midday favorites as our wood-fired oven takes center stage.
Space is limited, first come, first served.
Chef Matt Duley, formerly executive sous chef at UNION at The Press Hotel, will be leading the Salt Yard and Luna kitchen staff at the Canopy Portland Waterfront hotel.
